Strategic Plan 2008 -

In line with the transition to forming Regional Development Australia, the NQACC submission to the Australian Government proposes a structure and model for regional engagement for Regional Development Australia North Queensland (RDA NQ).  RDA NQ will serve the North Queensland region, facilitating economic and community infrastructure development, and providing the community with a conduit to access information and support for projects.

The key is for the voice of the region to be heard, for local priorities to be considered, and for partnerships to be developed to fund projects.

The final structure for Regional Development Australia and guidelines for regional development assistance are expected by the end of the year.
